This is concept work: a self-initiated design and engineering study by Hectagon, not a client engagement. It shows how we would approach the problem; it makes no claims about real-world results.

01Overview

FitTracker is a self-initiated concept for a mobile health app focused on consistency rather than records.

02Challenge

Most fitness apps overwhelm people with numbers. The concept asks how little an app needs to show to keep someone moving every week.

03Approach

We designed around one daily view and one weekly plan, and tested both as clickable prototypes.

04Solution

A two-screen core: today's activity rings and this week's workout plan.

  • Daily rings for steps, activity and water

  • A weekly plan that adapts to missed days

  • Gentle reminders instead of streak pressure

05Outcome

The concept shaped how we design dashboards in our own products: fewer numbers, clearer next steps.
